Review by hotel critic
Nestled just a stone's throw from Munich, Aschbacher Hof is a hidden gem that my family and I absolutely adored during our recent stay. From the moment we stepped in, we were welcomed by a warm and hospitable atmosphere, which made our one-night stop feel far too short. The spacious rooms were a real treat, tastefully furnished with natural wood and every modern comfort like flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. We relished the buffet breakfast with a buffet style ensuring there were plenty of choices to satisfy everyone's tastes, especially those warm egg-dishes made to order-perfect fuel for a day of outdoor adventures. What truly left a mark on us was the breathtaking mountain views that surrounded the property; we couldn't resist taking strolls with our dog along the nearby fields and streams that felt like our own little slice of Bavaria. Although we didn't have the chance to dine at the restaurant, it's worth noting that the menu features Bavarian delicacies with a twist that we'll definitely be back to explore. If you're a fan of a good pampering session, I've heard the spa is quite the sanctuary with soothing treatments to melt away any travel fatigue. Whether passing through Munich like us or seeking a longer escape, Aschbacher Hof is the kind of place you'll want to linger a little longer.
